OUR GUESTS SAY:

"Thank you for the warmth of a New England home and welcome in the clear delights of winter sun and snow." Richard K., Aranda, Australia

"This is a great place to stay and experience the hospitality of the owner/hostess as well as the photography, architecture, and cats. The history of the B&B is obvious in its architecture, but the history of the '70s is also there to revisit in the photography throughout the house. We have new memories from our stay at the Lathrop House, and a new friend, both of which enrich our lives... Thank you, Diana, for making us feel so at home, and so at peace."

Review on BedandBreakfast.com:

"Diana Henry is a marvelous hostess. She goes out of her way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The beds are super, there are plenty of books, magazines and board games, and her two cats are the most affectionate creatures on earth."

"My stay at the Lathrop House was more than wonderful, it felt like I went home. I travel for a living and stay in many different hotel, motels and extended stays across the country. I was visiting Springfield on vacation and wanted to experience the quaint New England B&B of which I've always dreamed. My stay at the Lathrop House exceeded all my expectations by far! I am forever grateful to Diana for her hospitality and her flexibility. I recommend the Lathrop House to anyone that wants comfort, good company and classic New England hospitality. When you make your reservation, be sure to tell the Henry family that Susan from Reno sent you! " -Stayed On: 4/2009
